Product Canvas
A Product Canvas is a short description of what you’re selling; every campaign uses one as its starting point. It’s the single source the AI reads before it generates anything else, so it’s worth getting right.
What goes into it
- Canvas name: an internal label, e.g. “Acme Invoicing Software”.
- Product / service description: as detailed as you can make it. This is what the AI uses to generate your core value propositions, so vague descriptions produce vague campaigns. Describe the problem it solves and who typically buys it, not just the feature list.
How it’s used downstream
Everything else in a campaign traces back to the canvas:
- Target audience segments and value propositions are generated from it.
- Message sequences reference the value propositions, so a clearer canvas means less rewriting later.
You can reuse one canvas across multiple campaigns, for example one campaign per target market or per segment, all pointing at the same underlying product description.
